I contribute to Dare To Dream Africa as a volunteer, primarily through website development. I started in August 2024.
The focus is on supporting the organisation's digital presence through website development and related technical improvements. You can visit the organisation at daredreamafrica.org.
My role
My role is volunteer website developer. It is not a technology leadership position, and the organisation's programmes and wider work belong to the organisation and its team.
How I approached the website
- Exploring the design. I used AI tools, including Lovable, to explore the initial design, create mockups and establish the initial framework for the site.
- Guiding the content. I guided the creation of the site's content.
- Refining the site. I continued to refine the website after the initial version.
AI tools made the first draft quick to produce. Guiding the content and refining the result were the parts that needed ongoing attention.
